KRC is a webstore catering to young riders and was founded by Gillian du Pont of The Old Habit in 1999. She wanted to provide a shop for young riders to encourage their enthusiam and lighten the load on their parent's wallets.  After several years working for The Old Habit we purchased the children's department, The Kids Riding Club, upon her retirement in 2010.  We are continuing to follow in her tradition of quality and value, while making the shop our own and providing excellent customer service. 

We specialize in toddler, leadline and beginners, because outfitting your child shouldn't blow your budget.  We believe your money should go towards more lessons rather than your child's outfit.  The products we carry at KRC will pass the test of time and look great.  And when you have outgrown them, trade them in for the next size up with our Trade-In Program.  We try every product that we put on our site so that you can be assured you are receiving quality products at value prices.  If you are ever unsatisfied with a product, let us know, we will make it right.  At KRC we take our customer feedback very seriously and use it to provide our customers with the products they want.  Customers are our business and we do our best to show our appreciation.  One of the ways we do that is with our fantastic Birthday Club discounts. 

We also believe it is important to do our part for the environment.  We reuse or recycle everything that comes into our office, we mean it, everything!  So don't think it's us being cheap sending your package in a Diapers.com box, or manufacturer's box (though it does helps to keep our costs down), we are just doing our part to clean up the planet for our children.  We hope our customers will do the same.
